Our roots trace back to the establishment of one of Fiji’s first earthmoving and civil contracting companies. Infact, the organisation was founded in 1974.
MOHAMMED Darbesh of Labasa Fiji brought in the first tracked excavator into Fiji from New Zealand in the year 1978. This was a milestone for not only his company but revolutionized the way earthmoving practices were carried out.
Mr Daresh’s legacy was continued by his son Mohammed Yunus and the company still stands today in the form of National Bulldozing & Transport Co LTD (NBTL). Mr Yunus is regarded as one of the pioneer civil contractors of the western division of Fiji.
Yunus and his team have worked for some iconic brands in Fiji including but not limited to The Outrigger, Fiji Sugar Corporation, Department of National Roads, Water Authority of Fiji and Department of Agriculture & Fisheries
Geoffrey Yunus, the son of Mohammed Yunus was born and bred in Fiji. Having noticed firsthand the challenges that companies, and employees face when dealing with heavy machinery, he has been striving to improve avalibily of affordable and quality equipment in Fiji
Geoffrey’s research and relationships led to the birth of Bits N Pieces NZ and Diggers 4U Fiji with aim of helping improve the image of Fiji by helping its people, communities and its businesses.
